By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms.

1. Orders & Payment

  • Prices are in USD and may change without notice.
  • We may refuse or cancel any order, for example suspected fraud. Any captured payment will be refunded.

2. Shipping, Physical Goods

  • We ship to destinations shown at checkout. Carrier delays are outside our control.
  • Risk of loss transfers to you when the carrier scans the parcel. Report damaged or incorrect items within 7 days of delivery, include photos and your order number.

3. Returns, Physical Goods

  • Books and Guardian Stone: Unused, resaleable items accepted within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product price, shipping is non-refundable. Customer pays return shipping unless we erred or the item is defective.
  • Safety: The Magical Guardian Stone is a collectible, not a toy, recommended ages 8+.

4. Digital Access, Soundscape StoryVision™ and StoryScore™ (Household License)

License. Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream and view at home for private, non-commercial use only.

Delivery. Access is delivered by secure link to the email used at checkout. If you do not see it within a few minutes, check spam or junk. If still missing, contact support@brendlewood.com. A valid email address is required.

Restrictions. You agree not to share, repost, rebroadcast, sell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the content or access links. You agree not to download or rip streams, remove watermarks, bypass security, or exhibit the content publicly or commercially without our written permission. We may limit concurrent devices and revoke access in cases of abuse.

Availability and refunds. We aim to maintain ongoing access. If a purchased title must be discontinued, we will offer a reasonable alternative or a refund for purchases made within the prior 12 months. Digital purchases are non-refundable except when we cannot resolve a technical issue within 7 days of your support request.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, including books, artwork, characters (including World of Xanthia™ and Peeniqua Pip™), audio, video, musical scores, designs, packaging, trademarks, and site materials, is owned by Brendlewood or its licensors. No rights are granted beyond the limited licenses in these Terms.

6. Educator and Institutional Use, Classroom, School, Library

The household license above does not cover classrooms, libraries, group viewings, or public performances. For education and institutions, we offer the following licenses for Soundscape StoryVision™ and Soundscape StoryScore™:

6.1 Classroom License, single educator
  • Who: One named teacher or educator
  • Where: One classroom, in person, within a single school
  • What is allowed:
    • In-class streaming or playback to enrolled students
    • Synchronous remote viewing through a closed, real-time class session with no recording
  • What is not allowed:
    • Posting or hosting files or streams publicly, including uploading to open platforms like YouTube or social media
    • Asynchronous distribution, downloads, screen recording, or sharing outside the licensed classroom
  • Access method: Private Brendlewood link or educator-issued links. These may be placed in a password-protected LMS such as Google Classroom or Canvas for enrolled students only, with restricted access and no external sharing
  • Term: 12 months from activation, renewable

6.2 School Site License, single school
  • All Classroom License rights for all teachers at one physical school address.
  • Same restrictions on public posting, downloads, and recordings.
  • Term: 12 months, renewable.
6.3 District or System License
  • Multi-school coverage under one agreement.
  • Same usage rules as above, custom terms available.
Performance and public events. Any public exhibition, ticketed event, community screening, or non-classroom group showing requires a separate public performance permission from rights@brendlewood.com.

Obtaining a license. Email rights@brendlewood.com with your institution name and address, contact person, license type, Classroom or School or District, and anticipated student count. We will issue a quote and license confirmation.

7. Promotions and Gift Cards

Promotions may change or end at any time. Gift cards, if offered, are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

8. Privacy

We handle personal data per our Privacy Policy, see the site footer. We do not sell personal data. Your email for digital access is used to deliver your purchase and essential updates.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

Products and services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service at issue.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Nevada law. Venue and jurisdiction lie in the state or federal courts of Clark County, Nevada.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
